Very tasty food

Just awesome. I have never experienced anything unfriendly on the phone. Simply shock. In the background a baby was crying, the lady on the phone was .... soooo unfriendly. I would never want to come to such a hotel. So only customers are chased away: ((((((((

Food was delicious. Pizzas are only recommended. Price performance more than okay. Very hospitable service. Any time.

2 stars because - Cheap - clean The rooms are quite spartan / old. Hardly anyone speaks German properly, we were told that breakfast was included. Breakfast? (Restaurant) doesn't open until half past ten. But you should be out of the room by half past ten? We then had breakfast somewhere else. I don't know if there is really breakfast there. The windows weren't tight and therefore let in a lot of sound from the pedestrian zone in front of the hotel. 2 of 3 bedside lamps did not work. For emergency accommodation (because everything else is fully booked) you can stay there. PS: Parking is about 5 minutes away and then costs 5 € for one night ...

Simple, clean hotel, nice team! The price-performance ratio is hard to beat ... When the restaurant is full, the reception for the hotel can be a bit short ... is an Italian restaurant with a hotel, without its own hotel reception ... restaurant also very good ...

The location is very central, right on the pedestrian street. The rooms are clean and functional, the bathroom is modern. Traveling by car in the afternoons is a challenge as you have to maneuver around the crowds in high season. But you can park for a short time near the house and unload. There is a public parking at the ferries or even with a parking pass from the hotel for € 5 / night. I have to ask the parking twice by mail and once verbally. The hotel entrance is open in the morning, but at lunch and dinner it is adjusted by restaurant guests and you have to take the longer way through the restaurant. The reception of the guests there is disinterest and you have the impression that you are only annoying as a guest. We paid € 100 / night to third for the apartment in August. Everything is fine unless you complain. The shower enclosure was unstable and fell off during use, we had refreshing morning shower water and one morning no water (alleged water loss throughout Meersburg for 30 minutes), a very weak Wi-Fi signal and a misunderstanding because of the room cleaning, but due to unclear specifications of the house was created. In the morning there was always only the Italian cleaning staff, who understood little German. We shared the deficiencies at midday with an employee. Nothing happened. In the evening we demanded the boss and carried things matter-of-factly. He started immediately, wanted to bill us for the shower enclosure and tell us we did not want to pay our bill. In addition, we would waste his time and he would rather cook in the kitchen (restaurant). He contradicted himself several times in his portrayal, giving the impression that this is an already practiced way of intimidating dissatisfied guests. His daughter was also extremely unruly to us. I have never received such unfriendly treatment in my life from a hotelier! You can call the establishment at best as an inn, not a hotel. Of course we settled the bill immediately and completely. Only we will never go there again.

We stayed in room number 7. Cute, right under the roof, with a view of the lake. Bathroom renovated and valuable. Clean. We went to the restaurant several times: pizza / gnocchi, pasta dish, salad. The ingredients were fresh, the food was great - we've had other experiences here in Meersburg ... The staff / owners (?) Were friendly and quick towards us. Anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay at an affordable price has come to the right place.

Clean little room. You have everything you need for a night or two.

The price is okay

Location is very nice, super central and just a few minutes by foot to the ferry. But that's basically it. It is not really cheap but has a very cheap feel to it. The room was small with just a small window and the TV was tiny and had horrible reception. The staff wasn't unfriendly but sort of grumpy, like they were bothered by your presence. For the same price go one house further down to Bengel for the same old school look but friendly staff.
